Studio City, California - The Association of Fundraising Professional/Greater San Fernando Valley Chapter (AFP/GSFVC) hosted its Annual National Philanthropy Day Award Luncheon at the Sportsman's Lodge.

Lois Bauccio, CFRE, Chapter President made a special award presentation in celebration of the Chapter's tenth anniversary to John Kelleher, CFRE, KELLEHER & ASSOCIATES, Canyon Country, California. Lois stated while making the presentation... for John's continuing dedication and support to our chapter and to the fundraising professional and the non-profit community as a whole, we salute John as our Professional Fundraiser of the DECADE. Without John's support our chapter would not exist. He is the constant professional, willing to assist and take an active part in our programs and activities. John holds dual membership in our chapter and that of the Greater Los Angeles Chapter. He is currently the chapter treasurer; mentor for new members and individuals starting in the fundraising profession; delegate to the AFP International Assembly; member of the AFP US Governmental Affairs Committee. His fellow members of the Greater Los Angeles Chapter also recognized John in 2000 as the Professional Fundraiser of the Year.
